This is a time for the people of God to rise up and call on Him by name.
of course in this text God is referring to the children of Isreal. As Christians it applies to is

As pastors we have to move from general theism.
we have to get back to Jesus.

We need to take stock of our lives often and look at other peoples perspective.
in order to look at someone else perspective, we are going to have to disengage from our own defense and intent.

we may often find that we were wrong in this process. Don’t fear being wrong, understand that no one is perfect and we all need God’s grace and the grace of others to service.

Relationship with God.
we where created for it.
we need it.
but like other things we don't always want what we need.
we often don't even realize we are putting other things in The lords place until the fruit of that displacement manifests.
we need to renew our time with God.
we need to seek his face more than we seek his hand.
this differs from other relationships in one way.... God dosent need us not to be selfish, we need to not be that way.
we dont need to be kingdom brats, we need to be kingdom kids

To repent means to turn.
